German Opera Berlin - Oman
With a total of 5 x 40' HC containers including stage scenery, technical equipment and costumes, the German Opera Berlin went to Muscat. From the collection in Berlin to the handling in Oman and the return to the Deutsche Oper, HEED! took over the logistical planning and implementation.
Hamburg Ballet - Asia Guest Performance
With a total of 133 people, the renowned Hamburg Ballet went on tour to Hong Kong and Beijing. HEED! handled the ocean & air freight to the venues and back to Hamburg. The customs clearance was done with a total of 8 Carnet ATA with more than 3000 single items.
Euro Vision Song Contest Tel Aviv
HEED! was responsible for the transport of almost 300 tons of technical equipment for the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv. A total of 40 x 40' containers as well as various air freight shipments were shipped to Israel. On site, our project managers personally coordinated load-in and load-out.
Sing meinen Song - Das Tauschkonzert
Almost 5 tons of camera, light and sound equipment had to be transported from various locations in Germany to the South African coast, about 150 km outside Cape Town. Part of the freight were almost 150kg of batteries, whose transport as air freight is strictly restricted. In addition to the customs handling, we also took care of the entire dangerous goods handling.
After pick up of the production equipment in Berlin and Mannheim on a Friday afternoon, all 92 packages were delivered to the set in perfect condition as early as the following Tuesday.
The Georgian State Ballet
The Georgian State Ballet traveled with a total of 4 x 40' high cube containers from Tbilisi to Dubai (and back again). HEED! was responsible for the entire transport planning and handling. Due to driving bans for trucks during the day the containers were delivered at nighttime.
Philadelphia Orchestra Europe Tour
The Philadelphia Orchestra toured Europe and Israel for 2 weeks.On the tour schedule were concerts in Brussels, Luxembourg, Paris, Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Vienna before the tour continued to Haifa, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. A total of 528 individual items (instruments, wardrobe, etc.) were packed into 125 crates and ultimately a total weight of over 10 tons was transported.
The journey from Bratislava to Tel Aviv had to be particularly fast: the entire transport from concert hall to concert hall had to be completed within 17 hours. To meet this requirement, the equipment was loaded into a specially chartered Boeing 737-400.
Circus production to China
51 tons of tent construction for a well-known Canadian artiste circus had to be transported to Shanghai by production companies from Germany and France. Only a few days were available for the preparation.
Numerous aluminum beams with a length of up to 10 meters posed a particular challenge. In order to make the loading possible, a correspondingly large aircraft was needed. A Boeing 747-400F was used, with loading taking place via the nose of the aircraft (nose load).
South by Southwest Festival
For a well-known German automobile manufacturer we took over the transport of almost 60 tons of technical equipment to the legendary South by Southwest Festival in Austin/Texas. A total of 11 x 40′ HC containers as well as various airfreights were sent on their way. On site, our project manager coordinated the loading and unloading.
Compressorhead rocks!
Compressorhead is a very special rock band. It consists exclusively of robots who play live on real instruments. For many years we have accompanied the rocking robots of Compressorhead at international gigs to festivals, fairs or private parties.
Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra
The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra played a total of 7 concerts in Saitama, Hyogo, Osaka, Tokyo, Nagoya and Matsumoto in Japan. HEED! was responsible for the entire tour logistics and took care of the (temperature-controlled) transport of instruments and equipment.
Hamburg Symphony Orchestra UAE
We provided a full service for the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra on their tour to Abu Dhabi. HEED! was responsible for the transport of instruments and equipment as well as the entire travel management (flights, visas, hotel bookings, local transfers) of artists and crew. On site, our project managers were available around the clock to ensure a faultless performance.
Toronto Symphony Orchestra
As part of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the founding of Canada, the renowned Toronto Symphony Orchestra went on a major tour to Israel and Europe. The orchestra made its first guest appearances in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv before moving on to Vienna, Prague, Regensburg and Essen.
HEED! coordinated the transport of instruments and technical equipment with a total value of over 6 million USD in tight time frames. After pick up on a Friday evening in Toronto, only a little more than 48 hours remained to deliver the equipment to the concert hall in Jerusalem on the following Monday.
